May Honey

Usually we do two pitching, the first – “May” is done in June, sometimes “May with buckwheat”, the second “herbs + sunflower” is done at the end of July, we try to do the pumping so that the bees bring themselves more honey for the winter or leave a lot.

There are bees in Odesa too – we bring them for the winter and for harvesting from acacia, olives, gleditsia, amorphs … honey is obtained with a pleasant smell – “Odesa aroma”. It does not happen every year. A pleasant feature of the Ode sa aroma is that this honey does not crystallize, sometimes it only thickens a little at the bottom.
